Elsa Torres, MSW, Psy.D.
Associate Clinical Social Worker
Dr. Elsa Torres is a dedicated and compassionate clinician with over 10 years of experience serving individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2013 and her Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016.

Dr. Torres addresses a wide range of clinical concerns, including mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, identity development, relationship challenges, cultural matters, and academic difficulties. She is deeply committed to helping individuals uncover the root causes of their struggles and guiding them toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

She embraces a holistic, integrative approach to mental health, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Torres specializes in Comprehensive Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessment for individuals of all ages. Her extensive training and experience encompass cognitive, neuropsychological, personality, behavioral, and independent educational evaluations. She is especially skilled in psychoeducational, diagnostic, and developmental assessments for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia). Her evaluations also support educational placement, accommodations, and treatment planning.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Torres is committed to providing culturally responsive care and accessible services to the communities she serves.

She is a certified clinician through UC Davis Medical Center in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for traumatized children and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her trauma-informed approach blends clinical expertise with deep empathy, offering accurate diagnoses and meaningful therapeutic guidance.
