Kayla Lim, M.S.

Kayla Lim is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate their healing journeys by promoting harmony in mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Political Science from UC Irvine and a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. Currently, Kayla is pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at The Chicago School.

With experience across community mental health, school environments, and outpatient care, Kayla has supported a wide range of individuals dealing with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, ADHD, and more. Kayla has had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout her career. She is passionate about helping her clients develop healthy coping strategies, build self-esteem, foster relationships, and improve their daily functioning.

Kayla incorporates various therapeutic approaches into her practice, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She is committed to creating a culturally sensitive, empathic, and mindful space where individuals can feel safe and empowered to be their genuine selves.

Born and raised in Southern California, Kayla enjoys spending her free time at the gym, Pilates and yoga, hiking, traveling, reading, and exploring new foods.
